Van Taylor led Lander men's soccer to 391 wins, seven Peach Belt Conference regular-season titles, four PBC Tournament titles, two NCAA Southeast Region titles, four NAIA District 6 titles, and an NAIA Final Four appearance. The three-time NCAA Southeast Coach of the Year, he was also honored three times each as the PBC and District 6 Coach of the Year. He produced 18 All-Americans and 40 all-PBC selections. An NAIA All-American as a goalkeeper at Erskine, Taylor played 10 years of professional soccer and was a Parade All-American at West Essex High School. Inducted in 2019.Â
