Lander University is committed to maintaining institutional control of its athletics program in full compliance with the rules and regulations of the NCAA, the Peach Belt Conference (PBC), Conference Carolinas (CC), the Gulf South Conference (GSC), the South Atlantic Conference (SAC), and Lander University (LU). This commitment includes educating coaches, staff, student-athletes, and all others involved in the athletics program about their responsibilities under these rules, as well as investigating and reporting any alleged NCAA violations.

The Athletics Compliance Office coordinates, monitors, and verifies adherence to all NCAA requirements. It also educates faculty, staff, and the broader community about NCAA regulations. Through training programs and interpretive guidance, the office ensures that everyone involved in the athletics program understands and follows the University's compliance expectations.

All individuals whose work involves student-athletes must understand their roles and responsibilities and uphold personal accountability and integrity. Everyone is expected to remain knowledgeable about the rules, to carry out their duties in full compliance, and to report any violations of NCAA, conference, or institutional regulations. It is Lander University's policy that all such violations be promptly investigated and reported.

The Athletics Compliance Office aspires to achieve excellence in compliance using the principle of institutional control in a manner that is consistent with NCAA, PBC, CC, GSC, SAC and LU rules and regulations.

Alumni and Boosters
Lander University is accountable for the actions of its coaches, student-athletes, staff, alumni, boosters, and fans. Boosters must follow the same NCAA rules that apply to all athletic staff. The following information is designed to help boosters, booster groups, and alumni support LU athletes and recruits without putting the university or its representatives at risk.

Faculty and Staff
Lander University is responsible for the actions of its coaches, student-athletes, staff, alumni, boosters, and fans.
