AUGUSTA, Ga. – It was announced today that Carson Skinner was named the Peach Belt Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

It's the first award of the season for Skinner, who joined the Bearcats from Wagner for his graduate season.

Skinner provided the Bearcats with seven goals and three assists as part of a 10-point week last week. It began on Wednesday when he scored three times alongside a pair of assists and one ground ball versus Belmont Abbey.

He then scored four goals with one assist during Saturday's 24-1 defeat of Virginia State to open Peach Belt Conference action.

Skinner is currently in fourth place in the PBC in each of the following categories: goals (22); assists (11); and points (33).

LU is back on the road this Saturday, March 28 against Flagler in St. Augustine, Fla. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
