AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference has recognized Katie Miller and Enisilina Savelio as the Player and Specialist of the Week following standout performances during Lander's road trip this past weekend. 

Player of the Week - Katie Miller 

Miller, a senior from Sugar City, Idaho, was named Player of the Week for the second time this season, after being a dominant force at the net for the Bearcats. She recorded 27 kills with a .355 hitting percentage against Georgia College and followed with 20 kills on .415 hitting in a sweep of Middle Georgia. 

For the week, she totaled 47 kills (.379 hitting percentage), 28 digs, and 48.5 points. Miller currently leads the Peach Belt in kills (190, 4.22 per set), service aces (23), and points (222.5, 4.94 per set). Nationally, she ranks in the top 15 in kills per set, points per set, total attacks, and total kills.

Specialist of the Week - Enisilina Savelio

Savelio, a junior from Henderson, Nev., earned Specialist of the Week honors after steering the offense and contributing in all areas. She tallied 45 assists, 10 digs, and four service aces against Georgia College, then added 40 assists, six digs, and three block assists in the win over Middle Georgia.

For the week, she finished with 85 assists, 16 digs, five kills, and four blocks. Savelio is currently third in the Peach Belt in assists (420, 9.33 per set) and fourth in hitting percentage (.286). On the national stage, she is ranked seventh in triple-doubles, highlighted by her performance against Winston-Salem earlier this season when she posted 11 kills, 42 assists, and 19 digs.

The recognition marks another strong week for both Miller and Savelio, who continue to lead their squad and rank among the top in the Peach Belt and across NCAA Division II.
