LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2022 Div. II South All-Region team, with two Bearcats, Adam Mather and James Linn representing the Bearcats.
Mather was named the PBC Co-Player of The Year and first-team All-PBC after being named to the All-PBC team last season. The junior attacker had 43 goals, 26 assists and 69 points. Mather led the Bearcats in assists and points in the regular season. He finished the regular season third in the PBC for goals and goals per game along with being second in the conference for assists and third in assists per game.
Linn was named the Defensive Player of The Year and first-team All-PBC after being named to the All-PBC team last season. Linn caused 15 turnovers and was part of a Bearcats team that was consistently in the top-15 in the nation in caused turnovers. Lander currently ranks 12th in the nation in caused turnovers per game. Linn also collected 25 ground balls in the regular season and was one of four Bearcats to record double-figures in caused turnovers.
