SALISBURY, N.C. - Sophomore forward,
Christian Hatley, was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association Men's Soccer All-Southeast Region First Team as announced today by the organization. The two teams are selected by the sports information directors from around the region which includes schools from the Peach Belt, South Atlantic Conference, and Conference Carolinas. As a first-team all-region selection, Hatley is eligible to move onto the D2CCA All-American Ballot which will be voted on by sports information directors from across the country.
Hatley tallied a team-leading 33 points in his first season with the Bearcats, including a PBC-leading 15 goals. He scored two goals in three different games, including the PBC Championship game against Clayton State. The Nottingham, England native also tallied six game-winning goals and was a perfect four for four from the penalty spot during the season. Hatley earned first-team All-PBC honors, All-PBC Tournament honors, and was named to the CSC Academic All-District team last week.
The D2CCA All-American team will be annouced in December.
