Hulst Earns First NFHCA All-American Nod in Program History

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After earning the program's first-ever All-Region honors earlier this month, senior defender Victoria Hulst has been named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-American, the organization announced Tuesday.

Hulst becomes the first Lander Field Hockey player to earn All-American honors from the NFHCA and the third All-American in program history, joining former teammates Aniek Vreeken (2023) and Sophie Schmitz (2022), who were both honored by Synapse Sports.

The All-American recognition adds to an already decorated collegiate résumé for Hulst, who was the program's first NFHCA All-Region selection, a two-time First Team All-South Atlantic Conference (SAC) honoree, and the 2023 SAC Tournament Most Valuable Player. That postseason run included scoring the golden goal in overtime to lift the Bearcats to their first SAC championship in program history.

Hulst capped her four-year career as one of the most accomplished players to wear the Blue and Gold, starting all 73 games Lander played during her tenure and serving as a four-year team captain. The Maarssen, Netherlands native totaled 45 career points on 20 goals and five assists, added four defensive saves, and anchored a backline that helped Lander record a program-record seven straight shutouts during the 2025 season.
