Adam Mather named PBC Player of The Week

MARTINEZ, Ga. - After scoring six goals in a 17-9 victory over No. 19 Alabama-Huntsville, Adam Mather has been named the PBC Men's Lacrosse Player of The Week as announced by the conference office.

Mather scored a season-high six goals against the Chargers while tying his season-high seven points. He scored three of his six goals in the second quarter when Lander outscored UAH 6-3 to take a 9-8 lead into the half. Mather also collected two ground balls and caused two turnovers in the victory over UAH.

Mather has now eclipsed 100 career goals scored at Lander and is 21 points away from recording 200. He is currently ranked fifth in the PBC in goals per game, second in assists per game and leads the conference in points per game.

Lander contunues conference action as it travels to Montevallo on Saturday, March 1 for a 1 pm EST battle with the Falcons.
