Zane Dalpe selected in 5th round of National Lacrosse League Draft

PHILADELPHIA – Lander Men's Lacrosse alumni Zane Dalpe became the first player in program history selected in the National Lacrosse League Draft on Saturday afternoon.

Dalpe was taken in the fifth round by the Philadelphia Wings with the 64th pick.

A two-year standout for the Bearcats at attack, Dalpe tallied 81 goals and 55 assists over the 2024-2025 campaigns while scoring the second-most goals (49) in the Peach Belt Conference this past season.

His 78 points were also second in the conference and placed him in the top-15 nationally.

The Windsor, Ontario, native earned All-PBC recognition in 2025 on the Second Team in addition to claiming the PBC Offensive Player of the Week award three times.

Dalpe scored five goals in a game four times last season as the Bearcats' most proficient goal-scorer with a .551 shooting percentage; that percentage was sixth in the country.
