GREENWOOD – Lander men's lacrosse head coach Anthony LePore has announced several staff updates heading into the fall of 2026.

Jon Gaglio joins the Bearcats as defensive coordinator and assistant coach after serving as an assistant coach at Hartwick College during the 2025–26 season. He previously coached at his alma mater, John Carroll University, where he worked primarily with the program's defenders and goalkeepers.

Gaglio completed a decorated five-year playing career in goal at John Carroll, earning USILA All-America honors in both 2023 and 2024. He was named the 2024 Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, earned All-OAC recognition four times and concluded his career as John Carroll's all-time leader with 556 saves. Gaglio also led NCAA Division III with a 7.03 goals-against average in 2022 and represented John Carroll in the 2024 USILA Senior All-Star Game. He earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2023 and a master's degree in sports leadership in 2024.

The Bearcats are also pleased to welcome Breton Crewe to the staff as a graduate assistant coach. A faceoff specialist during his playing career, Crewe earned All-Peach Belt Conference honors in both of his seasons at Lander. As a senior in 2026, he led the conference with a .582 faceoff win percentage and was named a USILA Scholar All-American following the season.

The program would also like to recognize Rhodes Conroy and Nicholas Paige for their service as graduate assistant coaches during the 2026 season.

Following an outstanding playing career at Lincoln Memorial University, where he finished as the third-leading scorer in program history, Conroy joined the Bearcat staff and worked primarily with the Lander offense. He recently accepted a position as an assistant coach at Barry University under former Lander assistant coach Alex Williams. Conroy will help Williams establish Barry's new men's lacrosse program, which will begin competition during the 2027 season.

Paige, a former All-PBC, All-Region and Academic All-American goalkeeper for the Bearcats, worked primarily with Lander's defense and goalkeepers, helping mentor a unit that included 2026 USILA All-American Mitchell Festi. Paige earned both a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Master of Business Administration from Lander. He plans to begin a career in law enforcement in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta.
