Three Bearcats PR at Royals XC Challenge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Lander Women's Cross Country team had their last tune-up before the PBC Championships on Friday at McAlpine Creek Park and it saw three Bearcats run personal best times on one of the fastest courses in the region.

Madeline Beal was the first Bearcat across the line for the fourth race in a row as she finished in a time of 22:03.91. She was followed by Kiersten Thatcher in a PR of 23:39.4.

Rachel Schenck was next across the line in 24:12.7 while Katie Lea and Megan Hamby rounded out the scoring five. Lea ran a personal best of 25:13.4 and Hamby finished in 25:47.2. Arianna Nabbie rounded out the lineup with a personal record of 25:57.1.

The Bearcats return to action in two weeks as they compete at the PBC Cross Country Championships on the Gainesville campus of the University of North Georgia.
