CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Carly Fuel led the Lander Women's Cross Country team for the third consecutive race with a 19:36.04 as the Bearcats returned from an extended hiatus caused by Hurricane Helene at the Royals XC Challenge at McAlpine Creek Park.
Fuel ran in the Gold Race alongside Amara Hille (19:58.21) and Kayla Barnhardt (20:36.92).
Lander also had representation in the Blue Race, led by Hanna Martin (20:37.21), Madeline Beal (21:34.39), Rachel Schenck (21:40.30), Kiersten Thatcher (22:49.49), Megan Hamby (22:56.01), and Kaelynn Larose (23:07.78)
This was Lander's last scheduled meet of the regular season. They will compete next in the PBC Cross Country Championships on Saturday, October 26th, on the campus of the University of North Georgia.
