MARTINEZ, GA. - For the fourth consecutive week, the Lander men's soccer team has earned a conference weekly award. Lorenzo Ferrari was named the PBC Keeper of The Week as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
The Cremona, Italy native made 10 saves this past week, with seven coming in a 1-0 win at Clayton State on Wednesday. He also made three more saves at Georgia Southwestern in a 0-0 tie on Saturday. Ferrari has made three consecutive shutouts since taking over as the starting keeper and has gone 1-0-2 in that span.
Ferrari and the Bearcats return home to Van Taylor Stadium to host the Flagler Saints on Wednesday, September 28.
