GREENWOOD - The Lander men's soccer team knows no off-days, with eight current and former Bearcats competing or coaching in the United Soccer League 2 and National Premier Soccer League this summer.
In the NPSL, Drew Whortan is suited up for Metro Louisville FC while assistant coach Dale Parker is leading Appalachian FC this summer.
In the USL 2, Tom Marriott is currently playing for the Charlotte Eagles. East Atlanta FC features a trio of Bearcats in Max Landau, Jacob Withers and former Bearcat Luke Narker. Mohssine Samiki is with Tormenta FC 2 while former Bearcat Jordan Skelton is with the Des Moines Menace.
The Bearcats look forward to a full slate of games this fall.
