GREENWOOD - The No. 14 Lander men's tennis team won its eighth straight match Sunday afternoon when the Bearcats defeated Georgia Southwestern, 9-0, in a Peach Belt Conference match at The Joe Cabri Courts.
Lander improves to 8-1 overall and 2-0 in the PBC, while Georgia Southwestern drops to 3-6, 0-4. The shutout was Lander's sixth of the season.

In doubles, No. 1 Clark/Frances (LU) def. Pinones-Haltenhof/Bartz (G), 8-0; No. 2 Willers/Mattsson (L) def. Donnet/Munoz (G), 8-1; and No. 3 Arrigoni/Desmars (L) def. Carson/Knight (G), 8-0.
