Lander finishes NCAA South/Southeast Regional tied for 12th

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Following three days of competition on the challenging El Campeón Course at Mission Inn + Resort Club, the Lander men's golf team tied for 12th at the 2025 NCAA South/Southeast Regional.

The No. 16 Bearcats shot 12-over this week and tied with the South Atlantic Conference's Lenoir-Rhyne. Positions five through 12 on the team leaderboard were separated by only nine shots, and Lander had cracked the top-five earlier today.

North Georgia won the regional at -28. Wingate (-4) and West Florida (-3) were the only other teams under par and were followed by fourth-place Columbus State who scored an even-par 864.

Aaron Lin led the Bearcats for the tournament at +2 while tying for 33rd. He closed with a 73 following a first-round 75 and second-round 70, and his 10 birdies tied for the team lead.

Victor Larsson finished three shots back of Lin and recorded a hole-in-one on 12 today – a par-3 playing 205 yards. His scorecards for the week read 73-74-74.

Noah Curdt (+7) had a three-stroke improvement from yesterday with a final-round 74. He also had 10 birdies during the regional.

He was tied with Edward Rahm, another of the Bearcats with double-digit birdies this week. Rahm went 75-73-75.

And Gaston Edberg (+10) tied the lowest Lander score of the week with a two-under 70 today. This round included five birdies on the heels of three in his second round Friday.
