ROCK HILL, S.C. – The seventh-ranked Lander Field Hockey team has earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Field Hockey Championship, as the league officially released the tournament bracket this weekend.
The Bearcats will be in search of their second SAC Tournament title (2023) and will begin that quest at home, hosting Lincoln Memorial in a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. at Frank Hill Stadium.
Lander has hosted a quarterfinal match in each of the last three seasons, posting a 1-1 record in those contests. Lincoln Memorial, meanwhile, will make its first-ever postseason appearance.
