AUGUSTA, Ga. – Leah Hayes Coen earned her second Peach Belt Conference Women's Goalkeeper of the Week award this season, the conference office announced today. She previously won the award on Oct. 6.
Hayes Coen made seven saves and faced 13 shots in Saturday's 1-0 home win over USC Beaufort. It marked the fourth solo clean sheet of the season for the junior from Limerick, Ireland.
She is now second in the conference with a .829 save percentage, and her clean sheet tally is tied with North Georgia's Isabelle Lee and USCA's Savannah Yerger for most in the PBC.
The Bearcats stay home to face Georgia Southwestern on Wednesday night (Oct. 22) at 7:00.
