TOCCOA, Ga. – Three rounds are in the books at the McCoy Wright Currahee Collegiate Invitational at Currahee Club and the Lander men's golf team moved up a spot from yesterday to finish sixth overall at 35-over. The Bearcats were only two strokes behind fifth-place Catawba.
Victor Larsson (-1) finished in a tie for second place individually after firing off a final-round 70 that featured an eagle on the par-4 15th in addition to six birdies. Larsson was named to the All-Tournament team for his efforts.

Gaston Edberg was +6 this week as he tied his second-round score with another 73 today.
Edward Rahm wound up 40th at 13-over with a 77 to close his tournament.
Samuel Guigui-Baruchel tied for 55th at 19-over with five birdies over three rounds.
Aaron Lin (+23, T-68th) was the fourth and final scorer for Lander in the third round with a 78 – his best score of the week.
The Bearcats have concluded the fall portion of their schedule and will return to competition at the Bearcat Spring Invitational at The Preserve at Verdae in Greenville, S.C., Feb. 3 and 4, 2025.
