Nunez Leads Bearcat Men at Royals XC Challenge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Jonathan Nunez ran 27:16.18 in the Gold Race at the Royals XC Challenge to be the fastest Bearcat on the course as the Lander Men's Cross Country team returned from a Hurricane Helene extended hiatus at McAlpine Creek Park.

Lander also had a full team represented in the Blue Race where they were led by Seth Hammon (27:52.39), Natheer Suied (28:24.31), Ethan Waites (29:07.85), Cooper Mayo (29:29.90), Evan Winsdor (30:00.20), and Zack Lang (30:09.96)

This was the last regular-season meet for the Bearcats. The next competition for the Men of Lander will be the PBC Cross Country Championships, hosted by the University of North Georgia, on Saturday, October 26th.
