GREENWOOD - Lander University's junior forward Makaila Cange has been named First Team All-Region by the D2CCA; it was announced Thursday afternoon.
Last week Cange was named the Peach Belt Conference's Co-Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference.
Cange led the conference in scoring at 19.6 points per game and in field goal percentage (67.3) and offensive rebounds per game (4.6). Makaila also finished second in the conference in rebounding with 10.2 and double-doubles with 15.
She is second in field goal percentage, eighth in offensive rebounds, and 13th in double-doubles. Cange also has the second-highest career field goal percentage of all active players at 62.8%.
