ALBANY, Ga. - The Lander men's golf team finished eighth at the Hurricane Invitational held at the Doublegate Country Club Monday and Tuesday.  

Linus Jonsson led the Bearcats, shooting a three-under 213 to finish tied for fifth place. Hugo Lari shot 219 over three rounds to finish tied for 23rd, while Maime Legros tied for 49th with 223. Jake Stoneham shot 228, and Gaston Edberg shot 231 for Lander. 

Lander returns to action next week as they will host the Bearcat Classic on Monday and Tuesday at the Greenwood Country Club.
