STORYLINES
- The Bearcats are coming off a 20-5 thrashing of Emmanuel on the road on Wednesday.
- Carter Wilcox led the way with five goals on the day. He scored three of those in the third quarter. Drew Wilson and Adam Mather were close behind with three goals each.
- The Bearcats put 35 of their 46 shots on goal against Emmanuel.
- Liam Mackay earned his third win in as many starts. He recorded seven saves in 30 minutes of action against the Lions.
- The Bearcats lead the PBC in total goals scored with 54 over three games. Lander is also leading the PBC in shot percentage with .386 and total shots on goal with 99.
- Wilcox currently leads the Bearcats in goals with 13 and points with 17. Adam Mather, Drew Wilson and Wilcox are tied for the team lead in assists with five with both Mather and Wilson tied for second in points with 12.
- Blake Sterling leads the team with four caused turnovers while four other Bearcats are tied with three.
- Trenton Thomas and Mackay are tied for the lead in ground balls with seven.
- Mackay has made three starts this season and is 3-0. He's made 22 saves in his 113 minutes of action.
- This will be the first time Lander and Lincoln Memorial will battle in men's lacrosse.
- The Railsplitters are currently 0-2 with losses to fellow PBC members Alabama-Huntsville and Montevallo. LMU lost to UAH 16-3 and Montevallo 21-8.
- The Railsplitters last played Montevallo on February 12.
- Francis O'Hara led the team with three goals and four points. Blake Moxim was first in assists with three and second in points with three. Haden Berry picked up a team-high nine ground balls while Jordan Sullivan caused four turnovers.
- Hunter Reinhart played all 60 minutes in goal for LMU, making 12 saves in the loss.
- O'Hara is the Railsplitters leading goal scoring early in the season with four and leads the team in points with five. Sullivan leads the Railsplitters in ground balls with 14 and caused turnovers with nine on the season.
- Reinhart has played every minute in goal for LMU through its first two games, making 30 saves in the process.
- LMU hosts Young Harris on February 26 while Lander hosts Coker on Wednesday, February 23 at Emerald High School.
