No. 2 Bearcats to face No. 3 Drury in NCAA Final Four

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 2-seeded Lander women's basketball team takes on No. 3-seeded in the NCAA national semifinals Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:07 p.m.

STORYLINES

  • Lander is 15-13 all-time in the NCAA Tournament and 15-10 under Kevin Pederson.
  • Lander and Drury are meeting for the first time. Tuesday marks the first time Lander has played games on back-to-back days this season.
  • The Bearcats boast one of the toughest defenses in the nation this season. Lander's 56.1 points allowed per game ranks 11th in the NCAA. The Bearcats are 16th in three-point field-goal percentage defense (26.2%), 18th in defensive rebounds per game (30.0), and 20th in field-goal percentage defense (35.3%).
  • The No. 2 seeded Bearcats have reached the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
