Lander recorded a dominating win over UNC Pembroke, 91-53, last Wednesday in Greenwood. Natalia Crooke led the way with 25 points, while Zamiya Passmore chipped in 18 points and 11 assists for her third career double-double.
The Bearcats are allowing 52.6 points per game through 10 games, which ranks sixth in the country. The program record is 54.0 points allowed per game, set by the 1980-81 squad.
The Bearcats lead the all-time series against USC Aiken, 49-46. Lander has won four the last five meetings.
Kevin Pederson is closing in on 207 PBC wins at Lander. He enters Wednesday's game with 204 conference wins at Lander. With win No. 207, he will become the winningest coach in PBC women's basketball history.

Lander women's basketball is playing its 45th season in 2020-21. Lander played its first full varsity season in 1976-77 under the leadership of Jerry Hawkins.
