CAMDEN, S.C - After shooting 290 in the first round, the Lander men's golf team shot 284 in the second round and 289 in the third round to finish in eighth place in the Camden Collegiate hosted by Limestone University.
Sophomore Hugo Lari shot up the leader board Tuesday. After shooting 72 on day one, Lari shot 67 and 69 on Tuesday to jump from being tied for 23rd place to a tie for fourth. This was Hugo's first top-five finish of his career. Linus Jonsson improved from 46th place on Monday to a tie for 31st with 68 and 75 on day two.
Chris Fortenberry shot 77 in round two and 73 in round three to finish tied for 49th place. Skyler McFaddin shot 76 and 72 to finish tied for 58th, while Gaston Edberg shot 73 and 79 to finish in a tie for 61st.
