INNISBROOK, FLA. - The Lander men's golf team finished 15th overall to close out the Copperhead Championship at the Innisbrook Resort.

Jon Parker led the way for the Bearcats with a seven-over 220 to finish in a tie for 34th overall. Valentin Peugnet and Maxime Legros finished tied for 54th at 12-over 225. Chris Fortenberry finished tied for 83rd with a score of 234, while Skyler McFaddin rounded out the Bearcat lineup in a tie for 86th place with a score of 236.

The Bearcats ended the event with a 46-over 898. Barry won the 17-team field at a two-under 850, seven strokes ahead of Columbus State, and nine strokes in front of Lincoln Memorial.

Lander tees off at the Queens University Fall Invitational in Charlotte, N.C., next Monday.
