POOLER, Ga. – The Lander men's golf team finished 17th Tuesday in the two-day, three-round Armstrong Pirate Invitational at the par-71, 6,897-yard Savannah Quarters.
Nova Southeastern won the team title with a low 857 and was followed by: 2. Armstrong 858, 3. Lynn 863, 4. Florida Southern 882, 5. Saint Leo 886, 6. North Alabama 887, 7. Flagler 894, 8. Georgia College 898, 9. Rollins 900, 10. Clayton State 903, 11. West Georgia 908, 12. Coker 916, 13. Mount Olive 923, 14. Belmont Abbey 928, 15. Wingate 930, 16. North Georgia 935, and 17. Lander 939.
Individually for Lander, Jordan Ainley (73-72-80) tied for 34th with 225, Andrew McCullough (81-78-76) tied for 66th with 235, Carlos Solis (76-77-85) tied for 72nd with 238, Neal Todd (77-83-81) finished 78th with 241, and Greg McCullough (87-92-86) was 90th with 265.
