TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Lander volleyball team improved to 3-0 Saturday when the Bearcats defeated St. Augustine's and host North Greenville by identical 3-0 scores in non-conference matches at the North Greenville Invitational.

Lander downed St. Augustine's, 25-16, 25-15, 25-6, then defeated North Greenville, 25-14, 25-18, 25-19.

Against St. Augustine's, Julia Ferreira-Alves and Kendall Korte had six kills each, while Kristen Dodge and Jessica Register had 14 and 1.0 assists respectively. Dodge also had six service aces and Sarah Bradley added four. The Bearcats totaled 10 blocks.

Against North Greenville, Hannah Dederick and Tarryn Angermeier had 12 and 11 kills respectively, while Register posted 20 assists and Kiki Hennessey had 18 digs.

Lander will travel to USC Aiken on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. contest.
