ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Lander men's golf team finished in fifth place of 17 teams Tuesday in the two-day, three-round Jay Jennison Memorial hosted by Flagler College at the par-72, 7,073-yard The Palencia Golf Course.
Host Flagler won the team competition with a low score of 865 and was followed by: 2. Queens 876, 3. Georgia College 877, 4. West Georgia 878, 5. Lander 880, 6. Armstrong Atlantic 886, 7. Mount Olive and Rollins 887, 9. Valdosta State 890, 10. Erskine 893, 11. Wilmington 901, 12. Eckerd and North Georgia 908, 14. Young Harris 909, 15. Newberry 916, 16. Montevallo 925, and 17. Tampa 927.
Individually for Lander,
Rob Prior tied for ninth overall at 1-over-par 217 (69-71-77),
Carlos Solis tied for 19th at 220 (74-75-71),
Eder Moreno tied for 22nd at 221 (74-70-77),
Jordan Ainley tied for 36th at 225 (73-72-80), and
Neal Todd tied for 69th at 233 (78-78-77).
