GREENWOOD - The No. 15-ranked USC Aiken men's golf team shot an 8-under-par 856 to claim the team title in the two-day, three-round Lander Bearcat Classic which finished Tuesday at the par-72, 6,800-yard Greenwood Country Club.

Gaines Milliner led the Pacers with a 2-under-par 216 (77-68-69) and tied for fourth place overall, while J.P. Solis (70-69-77) and Taylor Welborn (76-69-71) shot 216 and tied for eighth.

Flagler College's Joel Dahlenburg won the individual title after shooting a 7-under-par 209 (66-67-76). Belmont Abbey's Adam Hedges (73-67-72) and Newberry's Jon Weiss (70-71-71) tied for second overall with 212.

Following USC Aiken in the team scores were: 2. Georgia College 875, 3. Columbus State 885, 4. Carson-Newman 887, 5. Newberry 889, 6. Georgia Southwestern 891, 7. Flagler 893, 8. Queens and Coker 894, 10. Erskine 896, 11. Armstrong Atlantic and Belmont Abbey 897, 13. Montevallo 909, 14. Clayton State 917, 15. Mount Olive 919, 16. North Georgia 926, and 17. Lander 935.

Individually for host Lander, Oliver Van Nairn tied for 37th at 227 (79-76-72), Chad Siefert tied for 74th with 237 (79-78-80), Tanner Robb tied for 76th at 238 (73-78-87), and Neal Todd (77-79-84) and Tucker Nelson (80-80-80) tied for 81st at 240.
