KILLEN, Ala. - The Lander men's golf team is in seventh place of 15 teams Monday after the first two rounds of the two-day, three-round TVA Community Credit Union Invitational hosted by the University of North Alabama at the par-72, 7,133-yard Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club.
The third and final round will be played on Tuesday.
Columbus State leads the team competition with a 4-under-par 572 and is followed by: 2. Rollins 577, 3. North Alabama and Clayton State 578, 5. Carson-Newman 592, 6. Valdosta State 598, 7. Lander 602, 8. North Alabama "Gold" and Delta State 603, 10. Georgia Southwestern and Henderson State 604, 12. Missouri-St. Louis 611, 13. West Georgia and Lindenwood 614, and 15, Morthland College 330.
Individually for Lander, Greg McCullough (75-71) is tied for 17th at 146, Jordan McColl (78-74) is tied for 37th at 152, Oliver Van Nairn (73-80) and Max Bell (76-77) are tied for 43rd at 153, and Chandler Ayers (84-78) is 72nd at 162.
