HAMPTON, Ga. - The Lander men's golf team finished sixth of nine teams Tuesday in the two-day, three-round, Laker Collegiate Invitational at the par-72 Crystal Lake Golf and Country Club hosted by Clayton State University.
UNC Pembroke shot an even-par 864 to take the team title and was followed by: 2. Georgia Southwestern 880, 3. West Georgia and Coker 888, 5. Armstrong Atlantic 894, 6. Lander and Coastal Georgia 912, 8. Clayton State 917, and 9. Gordon Community College. Lander shot rounds of 299, 308 and 305.
Lander was led by Tanner Robb, who tied for 12th place overall with a 6-over-par 222 (74-77-71). Brad Hannah shot a 226 (76-74-76) and tied for 20th, Neal Todd shot 231 (73-78-80) and tied for 29th, Chad Siefert shot 235 (78-79-78) and tied for 34th and Oliver Van Nairn shot 236 (76-79-81) and tied for 37th.
