FRISCO, Texas – The Lander Women's Golf team earned the 2025-26 All-Scholar Team GPA Award as announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

The Bearcats posted a collective 3.7515 GPA this past academic year, which was the 12th highest in all of Division II, showcasing their commitment to excellence in the classroom and on the course.

The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA, which includes all the team's student-athletes for the 2025-26 season. 25 teams from each NCAA Division and 10 from the NAIA were recognized.

In Division I, Houston Christian University came out on top with a 3.947 GPA; they had eight players on the team. Leading Division II was Catawba College, as the team's six players averaged a 3.843 GPA.

At the Division III level, Carleton College came in first place with a 3.842 GPA and had seven players. In NAIA, Wayland Baptist's team of five players led the division with a GPA of 3.881. Lastly, Northeast Mississippi College topped the NJCAA with a 3.949 GPA.
