Hill Earns First Career PBC Player of the Week Honor

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Lander softball junior right fielder, Reagan Hill, has been named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Hill turned in a dominant five-game stretch at the plate, hitting .733 (11-for-15) with five runs scored and a .750 on-base percentage. She recorded a hit in every game and tallied three multi-hit performances, including a pair of three-hit outings against Tusculum and USCA.

The junior also posted an .800 slugging percentage for the week, highlighted by a double, while adding a walk and a stolen base. Hill was a consistent table-setter for the Bearcats' offense, reaching base 13 times over the five-game stretch.

On the season, Hill ranks among the top hitters in the Peach Belt Conference, sitting inside the top 10 in both hits (57) and doubles (13).

The honor marks Lander's second Player of the Week selection this season and the first of Hill's career.

Lander returns to Peach Belt play on the road with a pivotal series at Columbus State beginning Friday, May 1, at 6 p.m. in Columbus, Ga., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, May 2, starting at noon.
