NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and PLATFORM Golf have announced their 2024-25 Team Academic Award recipients. The Lander Men's Golf team was one of 53 NCAA Division II programs to earn the award, and among the 20 to garner the Presidents Special Recognition.

In order to receive the Presidents honor, teams were required to have a combined grade-point average of 3.50 or higher. The Bearcats – who cleared the mark with a 3.71 GPA – joined Georgia Southwestern as the only Peach Belt Conference members to be recognized.
