LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2025 NCAA Division II All-Region Teams this afternoon, and Lander's
Carter Wilcox and
Jack Kinney were recognized on the South Team.
Wilcox was named to the Second Team after being named a USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American last week. The senior from Harrisburg, North Carolina, was also the Peach Belt Conference's Co-Attackman of the Year this season.
Wilcox led the conference with 85 points after scoring 48 goals and collecting 37 assists in 16 games. His point tally was the sixth-highest in the country.
He scored five-plus goals in a game on five occasions in 2025 while also tying the single-game program record of 10 points in a road win over Alabama-Huntsville on April 12.
Wilcox's 235 career points is the Lander program record – his 85 this season also set the single-season program record.
Kinney earned a spot on the Third Team after previously being named the PBC Co-Defenseman of the Year last month.
A graduate transfer from Marquette, Kinney led Lander with 25 caused turnovers while also collecting 32 ground balls as one of the anchors of the Bearcat defense.
He had a career-high five caused turnovers in the 16-6 win against UAH on April 12.
