ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Through two rounds of the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate at St. Johns Golf & Country Club, the Lander men's golf team currently sits in a fifth-place tie with Flagler at one-over par in a field of 19 teams.
Host Lincoln Memorial, the No. 7 team in Division II, is atop the leaderboard at 14-under, four shots ahead of Columbus State, the 10th-ranked team in DII.
Wingate (-8) and Georgia Southwestern (even-par) are third and fourth. In all, the field has eight ranked teams – including Lander at 25.
Edward Rahm is currently showing the way for the Bearcats in a second-place tie at -7. He upped the ante from a two-under 70 in the first round to a five-under 67 in the second round. His opening round consisted of six birdies, and his second was bogey-free with three more birdies and an eagle on the par-5 12th.
Gaston Edberg is currently at even-par after 36 holes and is tied for 18th. Edberg carded a 72 in each round while making seven birdies.
Victor Larsson (+4) shot 73-75 today with six birdies over the course of the day.

Samuel Guigui-Baruchel, who improved from an opening-round 76 by shooting a 73 to close the day.
Playing as an individual,
Jake Wakeford is the next Bearcat on the board at +7. Wakeford had a five-stroke improvement from Round 1 to Round 2, from a 78 to a 73.
Noah Curdt is one shot back of him and had a three-birdie first round.
