Miller Earns Fourth Straight First Team All-Region Honors from AVCA, D2CCA

GREENWOOD - Lander senior outside hitter Katie Miller has been named First Team All-Region by both the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), marking the fourth consecutive season she has earned first-team all-region recognition from both organizations.

The announcement adds to a historic final campaign for Miller, who was recently selected as the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season and became the PBC's all-time career kills leader in the Bearcats' run in the conference tournament.

Miller is now just 39 kills shy of reaching 2,000 career kills, a milestone only a small number of Division II players have ever eclipsed.

Miller has powered Lander throughout 2025, posting one of the most dominant offensive campaigns in program and conference history. She leads the conference in kills (512, 4.49 AVG), points (600, 5.26 AVG), and service aces (58). She ranks in the top ten nationally in attacks per set (12.38), kills per set (4.49), points per set, total attacks, and total kills.

With postseason play underway, Miller and the No. 7 Lander Bearcats begin their run in the 2025 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional with an opening-round matchup against No. 2 Lenoir-Rhyne.
