Lander Duo Collects PBC All-Conference Honors; Miller Claims Second Straight Player of the Year Accolade

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Lander volleyball collected major postseason recognition on Thursday as senior outside hitter Katie Miller was named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year and selected to the First Team All-Conference, while junior setter Enisilina Savelio earned Second Team All-Conference honors.

Miller becomes the first player in program history to win back-to-back PBC Player of the Year awards, only the fourth time in conference history that any player has earned the honor in consecutive seasons, now holding both of the program's all-time Player of the Year distinctions after securing the program's first award last year.

Through the regular season, Miller has appeared in all 27 matches for Lander, playing in 100 sets, posting 447 kills (4.47 per set), 303 digs (3.03 per set), 530.5 points (5.31 per set), 55 service aces, 47 assists, and 41 total blocks. She currently leads the Peach Belt in kills, points, and service aces, while recording eight 20-plus kill performances and 16 double-doubles.

Nationally, she ranks inside the top 15 in multiple categories, including 7th in points per set, 8th in total kills, 9th in kills per set, 11th in attacks per set (12.15), and tied for 13th in service aces. Miller has also collected six Player of the Week honors this season, extending her career total and the PBC record to 20.

Her selection to First Team All-Conference also marks her fourth career All-Conference honor, making her the 12th four-time All-Conference honoree in PBC history and the first player in Lander volleyball history to earn All-Conference recognition in all four seasons.

Savelio has been instrumental to the Bearcats' success, appearing in every match and set of the regular season. She has totaled 924 assists (9.24 per set), 283 digs (2.83 per set), 151 kills (1.51 per set, .360 hitting percentage), 207.5 points, 43 total blocks, and 32 service aces.

The junior has posted four triple-doubles and 10 double-doubles, sits second in the PBC in assists and hitting percentage, and ranks fourth nationally in triple-doubles. She has also earned four PBC Specialist of the Week awards this year.

Both standout performers will lead Lander into the PBC Tournament as the Bearcats aim to build on their strong regular-season campaign.
