Miller, Savelio Sweep Peach Belt Volleyball Weekly Honors

AUGUSTA, Ga. - For the second time this season the Peach Belt Conference has named Lander University's Katie Miller and Enisilina Savelio as the Player and Specialist of the Week. The duo's performances helped lead the Bearcats to three consecutive victories over the week.

Katie Miller - Player of the Week 

For Miller, the award marks her fourth Player of the Week recognition this season and the 18th of her remarkable career — extending the conference record.

Miller had an outstanding week for the Bearcats, totaling 48 kills across three matches while hitting an impressive .302 overall and .440 in her last outing. She delivered a dominant performance against Middle Georgia on Oct. 17, posting 22 kills, 15 digs, and 27.0 total points. Across the three-match stretch, the senior added 27 digs, eight total blocks, and 59.0 total points while surpassing 2,000 career points — now standing at 2,018.

Miller continues to lead the Peach Belt in kills (307, 4.39 per set), service aces (44), and total points (370.5, 5.29 per set). Nationally, she ranks among the NCAA Division II leaders in attacks per set (12.10), kills per set (4.33), points per set (5.21), service aces, total attacks (762), and total kills (273).

Enisilina Savelio - Specialist of the Week 

Savelio, earning her second Specialist of the Week honor of the season, showcased exceptional consistency in directing Lander's offense. The sophomore setter totaled 115 total assists across the three-match stretch, averaging more than 11.5 assists per set, while adding 16 digs, three service aces, and three total blocks.

Savelio currently ranks second in the Peach Belt in total assists (655, 9.36 per set) and third in hitting percentage (.322). Nationally, she sits inside the top 10 for triple-doubles with two on the season.

The Bearcats will look to continue their momentum this weekend as they travel to face USC Aiken for a pair of Peach Belt Conference matchups.
