Lander Picked Second in Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 2025 Conference Carolinas acrobatics & tumbling preseason coaches' poll and Players to Watch list have been announced. Coaches were prohibited from voting for their own teams.

The Lander Bearcats secured the second spot in the preseason poll, earning 88 points. Additionally, three athletes were named to the Players to Watch list: senior Ryann Swope, sophomore Alana Eckert, and senior Avery Marquis.

The Bearcats will open the 2025 season Monday, Feb. 10 at home against Emmanuel University (Ga.) starting at 6 p.m. at Finis Horne Arena.

The 2025 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship starts with quarterfinal meets on campus sites on Tuesday, April 1. The semifinals will take place in the Student Center Complex at King University in Bristol, Tennessee on Saturday, April 5. The championship concludes on Sunday, April 6 with the event finals and the championship meet in Bristol.
