Lander Acrobatics & Tumbling Conclude Season at NCATA National Event Final Championship

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Lander University Acrobatics & Tumbling team concluded its 2025 season on the national stage, competing in the 2025 NCATA National Event Finals Championship hosted by Augustana University.

The Bearcats qualified for Toss Heat 1—the 450 Salto Toss—earning a spot in the championship event with an adjusted average score of 9.438. Representing Lander in the event were Ashlyn Shively, Morgan Axiotis, Alana Eckert, Madison Owens, Rhianna Philcox, and Cayden Groome.

At the finals, Lander finished with a score of 8.950, rounding out a competitive field that included Baylor University (9.800), the University of Oregon (9.525), Quinnipiac University (9.500), and Limestone University (9.300).

In addition to their athletic accomplishments, 13 Bearcats were named to the 2025 NCATA Academic Honor Roll, recognizing student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher.
