GREENWOOD - Lander shot a program-record 828 over three rounds to finish tied for first at the Bearcat Classic on Monday and Tuesday.
The Bearcats shot ten-under in the first round and sat six shots out of first place. They followed that up with a nine-under 279 in the second round, tied for third place. Lander went low in the final round, tying Grand Valley State with the tournament's lowest round, shooting 271 to finish tied with the Lakers at 36 under par.
Linus Jonsson led the Bearcats, shooting 204 to finish tied for second, and Victor Larsson shot 206 to finish tied for fifth. Ludvig Eriksson tied for 15th place after shooting 210. Edward Rahm shot 214 and Gaston Edberg shot 215 to finish tied for 32nd and 40th, respectively.
Individually, Corey Edgar shot 212 and finished tied for 26th. Noah Curdt tied for 45th place after shooting 216, and Aaron Lin shot 226 to finish tied for 84th.
