Anderson, S.C. - Krew Conroy's goal with 1:31 left in overtime gave #20 Lander a 13-12 win over Anderson Saturday afternoon.
The Trojans scored two early goals to take the lead. With 1:25 left in the first quarter, Zane Dalpe found Sean Reilly, who scored to make it 2-1. With Anderson leading 4-2, Nolan Oakey scored a goal at the 9:11 mark and at the 3:17 mark to tie the game up. Anderson regained the lead with 1:43 remaining in the half, but Conroy scored 40 seconds later to tie the game again. Kyle DeCrispino would score with just one second on the clock to give the Bearcats their first lead of the game heading into the half.
Lander came out of the break and scored three goals to increase their lead to four goals and would build a 12-7 lead early in the fourth quarter. The Trojans scored five unanswered goals to send the game into overtime, where Conroy ended the game and gave Lander the win.
DeCrispino led the Bearcats with four goals and two assists, while Oakey and Carter Wilcox added two goals and an assist. Nicholas Paige picked up the win in goal with 13 saves.
