Clarks Hill Reservoir - Lander University Bass Fishing's Anderson Jones won the Strike King Bassmaster College Series this past weekend fishing solo. It was the team's first Bassmaster event win.

Jone was sitting in 3rd place after the first day of competition after catching 19 pounds and 12 ounces. On the second and final day of competition, he caught 24 pounds and 3 ounces, amassing a 2-day total of 43 pounds and 15 ounces, winning by nearly 6 pounds out of a 243-team field.

The win was the team's second national event win of the year after Kaleb Brown and Cole Moulton won the Abu Garcia Major League Fishing event held at Lake Hartwell in October.
