MARTINEZ, Ga. - Katie Miller has been named the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, the office announced Tuesday afternoon. 

Katie picked up right where she left off last season, recording 53 kills in four matches at the Newberry Invitational. In Lander's first match, Miller led the team with 13 kills and had 13 digs to record a double-double with one service ace. In the Bearcats' 3-0 win over Francis Marion, Katie led all players with 13 kills while hitting a career-best .684.

She would record 12 kills and six digs on Saturday in a win over Belmont Abbey. Katie would save her best for last, helping Lander sweep Auburn University Montgomery. She had a game-high 15 kills, nine digs, a service ace, a block, and 16.5 points. 

Katie is currently second in the conference in total kills with 53 and sixth in hitting percentage with the second most attempts. She is also second in total points with 55.5 in 14 sets.
