Box Score Tigerville, S.C. - Men's tennis began their three match road trip with a 7-0 win over North Greenville. In 19 meetings, the Bearcats have never lost to the Crusaders.
The afternoon began with a Doubles point earned by the duo of
Markus Sorensen and Ludwig Danielsson, and the pair of
Graeme Simpson and
Benjamin Bates. In No.1 Doubles, Sorensen and Danielsson defeated their opponents 7-5, and Simpson and Bates represented No.3 Doubles with a 6-3 victory.
Every Singles match was won by Lander.
Alexandre Crepy had two straight sets of 6-1, and
David Velasco had two exact sets of 6-2.
Nicolas Chan came out on top 6-3, 7-5 in No.2 Doubles, while
Emilien Baradel overcame a tiebreaker set 5-7, 7-6 [10-4].
Ismail ElShafei and Bates both had 6-0 sets. ElShafei and Bates scored 6-1 and 6-4 in their second sets respectively.
The Bearcats continue on the road this weekend with a trip to Georgia College on Saturday, April 1st.Â
