STORYLINES
- Lander started conference play with a 17-11 victory over the Montevallo Falcons on April 2.
- Carter Wilcox scored seven goals along with having two assists in the win. He was also named PBC PoTW for the second time this season. He and Adam Mather have been named PoTW twice.
- Quinn Ingalls, Drew Wilson and Mather all added three goals each against the Falcons.
- Liam Mackay made eight saves in the first 30 minutes of play while Nicholas Paige made six saves in the second half of the game.
- This will be the first-ever meeting between Lander and Young Harris in men's lacrosse.
- Lander and Young Harris were set to play in 2020 when both sides were in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
- As a team, Lander ranks first in the PBC in total goals, scoring margin, shot percentage, save percentage, total ground balls, ground balls per game, total caused turnovers, total clears, goals per game, assists per game, total assists, total points, points per game, total shots, shots per game, shot percentage, shots on goal per game and goals-against average.
- Wilcox currently leads the Bearcats in goals with 35 on the season while Mather is close behind with 33 on the season. Mather is the team's leader in assists with 23 and points with 56.
- Jake Watson leads the team in ground balls with 41 while Wilcox is close behind with 40. Watson is also leading the Bearcats in faceoffs won with 99 this season.
- James Linn is the team leader in caused turnovers with 13 while Alex Ellis is second with nine.
- Mackay has played and started all 12 games. In 389 minutes of action, he's made 89 saves and holds a 9.72 GAA. Mackay had posted an 8-3 record this season.
- Lander is also featured in the top-25 in the country as a team in multiple categories. The Bearcats are eight in total assists, 15th in assists per game, 17th in caused turnovers per game, seventh in clearing percentage, first in total ground balls and ground balls per game, sixth in total points, 10th in points per game, 10th in total saves, 24th in scoring defense, 17th in scoring margin, 10th in scoring offense, eighth in shot percentage and 21st in winning percentage.
- Young Harris comes into the contest with a 0-10 record and an 0-1 conference record.
- Four of the Mountain Lions' last six matches have been decided by two or fewer goals, with three of those being one-goal games.
- Young Harris most recently fell to Flagler 22-7 on April 2.
- Drew Flagg led the Saints with six goals while Wyatt Peek, Gunnar Fagerstrom and Tommy Chriszt all had two goals for the Mountain Lions.
- Jacob Haas had six ground balls and went 6-of-29 in faceoffs. Ben Soenen had five caused turnovers. Dylan Wilbur made one save in the first 15 minutes while allowing eight goals. Cloin Korry played the remaining 45 minutes and made 13 saves while allowing 14 goals.
- On the year, Fagerstom leads the Mountain lions in scoring with 20 goals. Chriszt is the leader in assists with 15 and points with 34.
- Jacob Hass has 66 ground balls while winning 103 faceoffs this season. Soenen is leading the team in caused turnovers with 26.
- Wilburn has played and started all 10 games for Young Harris this season. He's played in over 534 minutes of action while making 136 saves. Wilbur has allowed 128 goals and has a GAA of 14.36 and holds an 0-10 record.
- Young Harris travels to face Alabama-Huntsville on April 16 while Lander hosts Flagler on April 16 for a 1 pm start.
