ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Flagler, the top team in the Peach Belt, defeated Lander 4-2 Tuesday morning to wrap up the regular season.
Hugo Regner and
Nick Beamish won their number two doubles match 6-1, and
Thomas De Negri and Nicholas Chan won their number three doubles match 6-4 to give Lander the double point.
The Saints would win four singles matches to clinch the victory.
Matthew De Groot won his singles match 7-5, 6-2 for Lander's second point.
The Bearcats now turn their attention to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament hosted by Columbus State. Lander will be the fourth seed and take on fifth seed Augusta Friday at 2:00 PM.
